EQUAL OPPORTUNITY CELL

Naipunnya School of Management has an Equal Opportunity Cell which looks after the protection of equity and equality among students in respect of caste, religion, gender, ability etc.  College accommodates thousands of students every year, each of them belonging to different religion, caste, and socio-economic situations. In spite of all these diversities, unity is ensured within the campus with the cell contributing towards this effort by providing awareness to the students about importance of equality. Equal opportunity cell is always cautious to ensure that equity and equality is not violated anywhere in the campus.

As a means to provide equal opportunity to every student, scholarships, freeships are allowed to those financially weaker sections and disabled friendly infrastructures like ramp, lift, disabled friendly washrooms are provided for students with various disabilities. Seminars and awareness classes are conducted every year to impart the importance of equity and equality within the campus.

Aim
Equal opportunity cell stands as a pillar to ensure social justice within the campus.It aims to protect the right of equity and equality  of students and make sure that no one gets discriminated within the campus in respect of their caste , religion, gender, ability etc.

Objectives

• To be the patron of creating awareness on the concept of equity and equality to one and all in terms of caste, religion, gender, ability etc.
• To oversee that plans and programmes for the weaker sections are effectively implementing and all efforts are reaches to those who need support.
