Red Ribbon Club
  • The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) is a voluntary club dedicated to raising awareness about HIV/AIDS, promoting healthy lifestyles, and fostering a sense of social responsibility among students. Our mission is to educate the campus community about HIV prevention, combat the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS, and encourage youth participation in health and social welfare activities.

The primary objectives of the Red Ribbon Club include:
  • Raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and substance abuse.
  • Promote healthy, responsible behavior among students to prevent the spread of HIV and STIs.
  • Organize blood donation camps and promote the importance of voluntary blood donation.
  • Engage students in community outreach programs related to health and wellness.
  • Foster compassion, understanding, and a sense of social responsibility in addressing public health issues.
  • The Red Ribbon Club provides a platform for students to engage in various health-related activities and community service initiatives. Our events and campaigns aim to educate, inform, and empower the student community to make informed choices about their health and contribute to the well-being of society:
  • HIV/AIDS Awareness Campaigns: Conduct seminars, workshops, and awareness drives to educate students about HIV transmission, prevention, and the importance of getting tested regularly.
  • Health Camps & Blood Donation Drives: Organize free health check-up camps, blood donation drives, and promote voluntary blood donation within the college and community.
  • Workshops on Safe Practices & Wellness: Host sessions on safe sexual practices, substance abuse prevention, mental health, and overall wellness to encourage a healthier lifestyle.
  • Peer Education Programs: Train students as peer educators to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS and STIs, helping others understand the importance of prevention and early detection.
  • Community Outreach: Engage in activities like visiting local communities, organizing street plays, and conducting health education programs to spread awareness beyond the campus.
  • Observance of Health Days: Mark important health-related days such as World AIDS Day, World Blood Donor Day, and National Youth Day with meaningful events, discussions, and activities.
