The Centre for Gandhian Studies at Naipunnya College is dedicated to the exploration and promotion of the principles and practices inspired by Mahatma Gandhi. Our mission is to provide students with a deep understanding of Gandhian philosophy, encourage the application of his teachings in contemporary issues, and foster a commitment to non-violence, social justice, and ethical leadership.

The primary objectives of the Centre for Gandhian Studies include:
Explore and study the principles of Gandhian philosophy, including non-violence, truth, and self-reliance.
Promote the application of Gandhian ideas in addressing modern social, political, and economic issues.
Facilitate educational programs, discussions, and research on Gandhian thought and its relevance today.
Encourage community service and activism inspired by Gandhian values.

The Centre for Gandhian Studies offers a variety of programs and activities designed to engage students with Gandhian principles and their application in contemporary society. Our initiatives aim to deepen understanding, inspire action, and cultivate a spirit of social responsibility:
Lectures & Seminars: Host talks and discussions led by experts, scholars, and practitioners on Gandhian philosophy, its history, and its modern applications.
Workshops & Training: Conduct workshops on non-violent communication, conflict resolution, and ethical leadership based on Gandhian principles.
Research & Publications: Encourage research on various aspects of Gandhian thought and publish journals, papers, and articles that contribute to the academic discourse.
Community Service Projects: Organize and participate in community service and social outreach programs that embody Gandhian values, such as poverty alleviation, environmental sustainability, and education.
