  • The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell is committed to increasing awareness and knowledge of intellectual property laws for both students and faculty. Our goal is to educate and assist the college community in understanding the significance of intellectual property, how to protect it, and its impact on innovation and creativity.

    The primary objectives of the IPR cell include:
  • Educate students and faculty about intellectual property rights, including patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets.
  • Provide resources and support for protecting intellectual property and navigating the registration process.
  • Promote innovation and creativity by encouraging the development and protection of original ideas and works.
  • Facilitate workshops, seminars, and consultations on various aspects of intellectual property law and management.
  • Support and advise on intellectual property issues related to research, inventions, and creative works.
  • The IPR Cell offers a range of activities and resources designed to enhance knowledge of intellectual property rights and support the protection of creative and innovative work. Our initiatives aim to help students and faculty navigate the complexities of IPR and maximize the value of their intellectual contributions:
  • Workshops & Seminars: Organize educational events on intellectual property topics, including the basics of patents, copyrights, trademarks, and how to protect and manage intellectual property.
  • Consultations & Advisory Services: Provide one-on-one consultations and advisory services to assist with IPR-related queries, registration processes, and legal considerations.
  • IPR Awareness Campaigns: Conduct awareness campaigns to inform the college community about the importance of intellectual property and how to safeguard their ideas and creations.
  • Research Support: Offer guidance and resources for researchers on patenting inventions, managing research outputs, and understanding the implications of IPR on academic work.
  • Creative Works Protection: Assist students and faculty in registering and protecting their creative works, including artwork, literature, music, and other intellectual creations.
  • Collaboration & Networking: Facilitate connections with industry experts, legal professionals, and organizations to provide additional support and opportunities related to intellectual property.
