The goal of this program is to integrate comprehensive environmental education initiatives into college curricula, fostering a culture of sustainability, environmental responsibility, and awareness among students. By doing so, Naipunnya aims to produce environmentally conscious graduates who can contribute to sustainable development and address global environmental challenges. The college is responsible for developing and implementing a detailed action plan for the integration of environmental education initiatives for each academic year. This program is reviewed annually to ensure its relevance and effectiveness.
Objectives

To integrate environmental education across disciplines, ensuring that students gain a multidisciplinary understanding of environmental issues.

To include practical components such as field trips, case studies, and hands-on projects to provide students with real-world exposure to environmental issues.

To encourage collaboration between academic departments and/or various clubs, cells and committees of the college with the local environmental organizations for practical experiences.

To implement sustainable practices within college campuses, including waste reduction, energy conservation, and water efficiency measures and promote eco-friendly policies.

To foster partnerships with local communities, NGOs, and environmental organizations and organize outreach programs, workshops, and seminars involving students in community-based environmental projects.
