With an intention to promote tourism in the state of Kerala, the Government of Kerala proposed that schools and colleges should form tourism clubs in the respective institutions. There should be a club coordinator, asst. co-ordinator (not mandatory) and a student secretary with all other members should plan and execute various tourism related activities inside and outside the college by the club every year. As per the recommendation, a tourism club was formed in Naipunnya School of management, Cherthala in the year 2014. The club was named as "KAAZHCHA- A view to nature" in the year 2015 2016. The DTPC, Alappuzha has sanctioned the activities presented in the report and a financial assistance of rupees four thousand approved for the club activities in the year 2016. Every year, as part of the World Tourism Day (on September 27) and National Tourism Day (on January 25) celebrations, the club organizes various tourism activities and intra, Inter collegiate competitions like hidden destination presentations, tourism quiz, poster designing, tourism theme related face painting, logo designing, blogging, essay writing, photography etc.
